Nordics x Reader - Finally accepted.

You where sat at the recording studio, of course you yourself wasn't been recorded. You were watching the infamous Nordic 5 recording their song, ‘always with you.’ It was advised by all of the countries bosses to create their own songs, you swore sometimes they had their own meeting to create these money grabbing idea. You yourself being the country of Greenland had to also make a song. Apparently it was so that people could understand that the countries where also human, but you aren't! You just thought that it was just a scam to get money out of the other nations!

It proved rather effective at this as your song had come out a month before the Nordics even were recording theirs, and from this you had a lot of business offers from big countries like Russia and America. At first you where dimwitted in thinking that it was your voice that attracted them, then rewatching the video and your Polish friend shouting “F/N Why are your knockers all over the video” referring to your breasts, you had finally realised what Russia and America was interested in.

Waking up from your day dream like state, you watched the Nordics. Jealousy bloomed as you watched them all together, being a family. Huffing, you glanced down at your watch, you had all been there for a good 3 hours already. You were of course a Nordic country yourself, yet for some unknown reason you were never invited to any of their parties of too even sit with them at meetings.

So when they announced they wanted you to come to watch them record their song, you of course originally said no. After a while of negotiation on Finland’s behalf, you finally said yes. So 2 hours later you were in the recording studio and 3 hours later is where you are now.  You where burning with anger just turning to leave until, the manager finally quietened them down. Then the music started and you yourself even found your foot tapping and a smile rise to your face. It was catchy!

A little after halfway through the song, you hear the line that finally made everything come together. It was the line that made your eyes fill up with tears, happy and sad. Happy that they finally recognised you and sadness that it took them this long. It was only one line but it coursed a range of emotions rage though you. You, Greenland, had finally been classed as one of the Nordics!  When the last chimes of the song rang out, they were finally allowed to come out of the recording studio.

You ran up to them crying. Finland and Denmark ran and gave you a hug while Iceland, Norway simply nodded and Sweden ruffled your hair. “What do you think?” Finland asked. “I loved it” You replied sniffing. “Greenland?” You turned to see Norway “You are now a Nordic.” Your face shined. “Yep”
